Make America Whole Again
If there are a few lessons we’ve learned from this election, it’s that we should never say never. For the first time in history, we saw an opportunity to vote for a woman representing one of the two primary parties. We saw a man who never held public office running for the highest office in this land. And we saw record voter turnouts for one of the most polarizing elections in our lifetimes.
And we saw ugliness. So much ugliness.
Today, many Republicans celebrate. And many Democrats mourn. But as a nation, we must move forward.
Today marks a new day, a new direction for our country. And its future depends on us. All of us.
This is America.
We fall. We rise.
We disagree. We move on.
We grieve. We recover.
We are many. We are one.
We’re at a pivotal point in this country’s history.
We can choose to remain divided in our beliefs, in our differences, in our outlooks.
Or we can unite and work to make our country whole again.
We can choose to support the leader that our citizens have chosen.
Or we can continue to increase the divide.
This is America. Our America.
